Arcipelago Pontino

The islands also known as Ponziane Pontine Islands, are an archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the coast of the Gulf of Gaeta, characterized by an intense increase during the summer.
The archipelago consists of six major islands divided into two main groups:

Group Northwest
The island of Ponza
Island Palmarola
Zannone Island
Island Gavi

group of south-east
Island Ventotene
The island of Santo Stefano

The islands can be reached via a ferry or hydrofoil from Formia, Anzio, Terracina, San Felice Circeo and, in summer, even from Ischia, Naples and Pozzuoli.
