gulf of gaeta
The Gulf of Gaeta is situated in the Tyrrhenian and average is between the promontory of Circeo north-west, the islands Ponziane west and Ischia in the south-east. Before the Gulf are the islands of Pontino. The most important cities that overlook the Gulf are composed of: Terracina, Sperlonga, Gaeta, Formia, Scauri and Mondragone. The gulf is very attracted by tourism through the many beaches which are between Terracina, Sperlonga and Gaeta. The port over the bearings of the area is that commercial Gaeta, while the ports of Terracina and Formia offer connections with the two largest islands pontine.
